This is installed on a carbon fiber frame. The original holder with the 16 ounce bottle was too heavy for the mounting hardware. I installed this in about 2 minutes. It holds my new titanium bottle (12 ounce) and the total weight on the hardware is about half of the original setup. I believe that this won't pull out the mounting screw that was attached to the frame. It also flexes, which the aluminum holder did not. This allows the water mass to shift without putting as much stress on the mounts.

Installed on my bike and it looks cool, love the color options to choose from. It isn’t the highest quality plastic and I feel that I may break it sometimes putting my bottle in. Overall, it’s cheap, pretty, and does the job.

It’s a cheap one but it looks good. I feel like it serves the purpose but if you want quality I would look into a different one. I’m happy with what I got it for though.

Looks great-lightweight-easy to install. My only ding is perhaps the cage holds water bottles too securely. When stopped no problem getting the bottle in and out with a little finger pressure to open up the hole. If on the bike it might be a challenge to get it back in. i mountain bike mainly, so most of water consumption is while stopped.

This was a perfect for for my Trek bike, and much cheaper than the OEM. It is a bit tight originally, however, once you break it in no problem. Would definitely recommend if you’re looking for a cheap alternative that works great.

It does scratch your bottle but it does hold it in place w/o wobble too. Let's see if it snaps in cold weather..
